Will Sydnor, a forward from Manhattan, has committed to Rutgers, returning to New Jersey. He brings three years of eligibility and was named MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2024-25.
Will Sydnor averaged 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 45.1% from the floor and 34.8% from three-point range.
Will Sydnor has three years of eligibility remaining after transferring to Rutgers.
Rutgers has also added Christian Gurdak from Virginia Tech and Darin Smith Jr. from Central Connecticut State, along with international guard Lewis Duarte.
