At the Nuevo Gasómetro Stadium in Argentina, Santos drew 1-1 with San Lorenzo this Tuesday (28) in the third round of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana.

The first half was lively, with both teams relying on quick passing combinations.

With the result, Santos remains bottom of Group D with two points.

San Lorenzo leads with five points, but could lose top spot to Deportivo Cuenca (three points), which visits Deportivo Recoleta (two points) next.

In the Sudamericana, Peixe still has matches against Deportivo Recoleta (05/05 - away), San Lorenzo (20/05 - home) and Deportivo Cuenca (26/05 - home).

Only the leader of each group advances directly to the Sudamericana round of 16.

Whoever finishes second will play a playoff against the team dropping from the Libertadores after finishing third in its group.

In the Brasileirão, Santos returns to action next Saturday (2), when it plays the derby against Palmeiras at Allianz Parque in the 14th round.
