Scarlet Knight Enterprises has announced its inaugural board of directors, with Oliver Luck as chairman. The organization aims to enhance multimedia rights, corporate partnerships, ticketing strategies, and NIL initiatives for Rutgers Athletics.
Just one month after naming Oliver Luck the chairman of the board of directors for the newly founded Scarlet Knight Enterprises, the Athletics department announced today the inaugural board of Directors for the Organization.
According to a press release by the university, Scarlet Knight Enterprises is a “dedicated corporate enterprise created to lead multimedia rights, corporate partnerships, ticketing strategy, and NIL initiatives that will support the long-term success and growth of Rutgers Athletics.”
The board of directors is as follows.
Wentworth is a Morristown, NJ native who was a key architect behind the formation of YankeeNets, a merger between the Nets, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Devils, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Wentworth was instrumental in founding the YES Network, the most-watched regional sports network in the country. Wentworth has served on the boards of the NBA, the Yankees, the Nets, and the Devils during periods of championship success.
Flaherty is a Rutgers graduate who is the Vice President and General Manager for Nike Basketball in North America, where he leads strategy, marketplace integration, and brand growth across one of Nike’s most influential sports. He has also held leadership roles spanning more than two decades at Nike, Jordan Brand, and the NBA. He was also a student manager and head manager for the Rutgers men’s basketball program from 1998 to 2000.
Tappen is an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster and one of the most versatile voices in sports media, serving as a reporter and host for NBC Sports, TNT, and NHL Network. Tappen is the sideline reporter for Big Ten Saturday Night on NBC and contributes to select NFL broadcasts. On top of that, she is also a Rutgers alumna who was a track and field letterwinner during her time at the university.
In addition to these three and Luck, the board also includes Director of Athletics Keli Zinn; Board of Governors Chairwoman Amy Towers, and Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer Kimberly Lewis.
The inaugural board includes Oliver Luck as chairman, Finn Wentworth, Michael Flaherty, and Kathryn Tappen.

Finn Wentworth is a sports and media executive and co-founder of YES Network, while Michael Flaherty is the Vice President/General Manager of Nike Basketball for North America.
