However, given the recent rumors, that seems to be highly unlikely right now.

It has been claimed that DeChambeau may not be presented with an easy route back to the PGA Tour, if he does indeed leave LIV Golf.

*“*What I can tell you is that there is nobody more passionate about this game, including me. Nobody more passionate about team golf, including me.
“Nobody more passionate about growing the game in the most pure sense of the word than Bryson. He loves LIV Golf and I am pretty confident that we will find a solution.“
Surely DeChambeau’s LIV Golf future will be heavily reliant on whether or not Saudi Arabia’s PIF continue to offer financial support to the league.
Only time will tell what happens in that regard.
O’Neil was asked by Oli Wilson which players he plans to recruit for LIV Golf moving forward.
“I won’t tell you names but from what you saw last year you can probably get a good indication,“ he said.
*“*If you were with us in Australia, you saw the impact that Ripper has. You saw the Ripper hats and the little kids running around yelling ‘I love Cam Smith’.
*“*If you were in South Africa you saw the Southern Guards mania out there. This notion of World Cup style, so you can bet you are more likely to have international players and you can bet on young talent.
“I like young and then we will have a little more experienced guys who represent the country that we are playing in.“
So it appears as though he is hinting that LIV Golf will be targeting the signings of young stars with huge potential and high ceilings.
Quite who those names will be remains to be seen, though.
