Leading up to the draft there was a lot of smoke around Price being the choice for Seattle at 32. However, some concerns were brought up regarding the value of taking a running back with their first pick, as well as the desire by many fans (and seemingly John Schneider himself) to trade back out of 32 to acquire more draft capital.

As to the potential for a trade back, that possibility seemed to vanish over the course of the night. There were a total of eight trades last night in the first round, most of these happening right before Seattle picked. With this increase in movement, plus quarterback Ty Simpson already selected by the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle was no longer able to find a trade partner.
All of this together led Seattle to select Jadarian Price, who is primed to be the next bell-cow for the Seahawks running game. How did Seahawks fans grade this move?
Well, Seahawks fans are generally excited and agree with Seattle’s pick of running back, Jadarian Price at pick 32 last night. A “B” grade is the runaway winner in this NFL Draft 2026 reacts Poll. An “A” grade comes in second. Overall, the Price pick seems to be one that Seahawks fans can get around. Time will tell if Price is able to make his mark in the NFL as he did in college.
