Seahawks’ strength of schedule ranked No. 13 in NFL for 2026 season

The Seattle Seahawks’ road back to the playoffs in 2026 will not be as difficult as their status as defending Super Bowl champions may suggest.

According to the NFL, the Seahawks’ strength of schedule is ranked No. 13 in the league for the 2026 season, with an opponent win percentage of 51.4 percent.

Seattle will face great challenges at home by their division rivals Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, as well as the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots and Chicago Bears. The Patriots advanced to the Super Bowl last season, and the Rams made it to the NFC Championship game. Five of those seven opponents, save the Cowboys and Chiefs, made the playoffs last season.

The Seahawks’ road opponents outside of their division rivals will be the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders. The latter three teams did not make the playoffs last season, though the Commanders will be getting quarterback back from injury in 2026, just two seasons removed from reaching the NFC Championship game in the 2024 season.
