Shedeur Sanders added to his list of accomplishments. The Cleveland Browns quarterback graduated from the University of Colorado in a ceremony at Folsom Field on Saturday.
While the youngest son of Deion Sanders was excited to be back on campus, this was an exciting homecoming, knowing he had made his way across a finish line some professional athletes who leave school early don't get to enjoy.
The former Colorado Buffaloes signal-caller was the ultimate multitasker, but as Coach Prime admitted last year, Shedeur never went to class and was missing out on the student experience.
"It's so different now," Sanders admitted on The Brett Boone podcast in 2024. "Most of the schooling is online. They go to classes and I'm like, 'You guys are missing the best part of college to walk around and be on campus and build an atmosphere and build relationships on campus with other students outside of football. That's the best part of it."
Shedeur Sanders graduated by fulfilling academic requirements through alternative means, as he never attended traditional classes.
Shedeur Sanders is the youngest son of Deion Sanders, the former NFL star and current head coach.
Shedeur Sanders is currently the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
