PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Eden Robison homered and Jordyn Sneathen tossed a 13-strikeout shutout to power No. 1 Allegany to a 2-0 win over No. 3 Petersburg Tuesday.
The Campers (11-1) extended their winning streak to 10. Petersburg (12-3) had won four consecutive games.
Robison's solo homer with two outs in the second inning gave Allegany its first run. Tyiss Jessie doubled in the Campers' other run with two outs in the sixth.
Sneathen (St. Francis signee) held the Vikings to two hits across seven innings and walked one.
Savannah Walton singled twice for Allegany, which out-hit Petersburg, 8-2.
Gracie Carpenter was tabbed with the loss for Petersburg, allowing two runs on eight hits in seven innings with five strikeouts and no walks.
Allegany (4-0 Western Maryland Athletic Conference) hosts Mountain Ridge (4-7, 0-2 WestMAC) on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

FROSTBURG — Mountain Ridge put up a nine-spot in the first inning to cruise to a five-inning romp of Berkeley Springs on Tuesday.
Five Miners (4-7) had multiple hits. Gracie Shingler went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Maci Beeman was 2 for 3 with a triple and two ribbies, Maci Barth doubled and singled, and Anne Baker and Madi Bowman singled twice each.
Julianna Burriss was the winning pitcher, tossing three shutout frames of one-hit ball with three strikeouts and no walks.
Destinee Johnson followed with two shutout innings of relief.
Berkeley Springs' Bailee Diehl was the losing pitcher.
Mountain Ridge heads to No. 1 Allegany (11-1) on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Moorefield 11, Frankfort 3
MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Moorefield scored 10 unanswered runs to out-pace Frankfort in a six-inning, run-rule shortened win on Tuesday.
Brenna See belted a solo home run, Gracie Simmons (Potomac State commit) and Sara Baldwin both doubled and singled, Annie Barr doubled and drove in a pair, and Anniston Kite singled twice.
Kite earned a complete-game victory, allowing three unearned runs on four hits in six innings, striking out three and walking four.
Frankfort's Addyson Merritt went 2 for 3, and Elizabeth Crowe doubled. Peyton Kimble was tabbed with the loss in the circle.
Frankfort is at Lincoln on Friday at 2 p.m.
Moorefield is at No. 2 Keyser (11-3) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and hosts North Marion on Friday at noon.
Jordyn Sneathen pitched the shutout for Allegany, recording 13 strikeouts.
The final score was 2-0 in favor of Allegany.
Allegany has won 10 consecutive games following their victory over Petersburg.
