Moises Caicedo famously almost signed for Liverpool before Chelsea grabbed him. Things havenāt all gone to plan since then, but the Ecuador star has just agreed a new contract, and speaking to TNT Sport this week he claimed heās convinced things can turn around fast at Stamford Bridge.
ā[I signed] because I believe that in this thing we can do a lot of things together,ā Caicedo explained.
āSo [that] made me sign a new contract here. I am convinced that we are not in a very good moment, but I am convinced we are going to come back and we are going to put [ourselves back] where Chelsea belong.ā
āI am so convinced. Iām not going to change, because, for sure, the only way to do that is believing. And thatās it.ā
