One day after posted a 20-2 win at home against Waldron, the Lady Chargers traveled to Waldron and knocked off the Lady Mohawks 16-0.
North scored seven runs in the first inning. Madison Rohls got the Lady Chargers going by scoring on a wild pitch. Macie Leake reached on a Waldron error as Kendall Hostkoetter scored. Brooklyn White scored on a wild pitch and Rileigh Hash scored on Wilsonâs ground out. MacKenzie Schneider and Haylee Schoettmer both scored on a wild pitch. Brynlee Green scores on a passed ball to make it 7-0.
The Lady Chargers added three runs in the second inning. White tripled and came around to score on the throw. Wilson singled to left field and Hash scored on a Waldron throw. Schoettmerâs single scored Wilson to give North a 10-0 lead.
In the fourth inning, Green scored on a double to center field by Carmen Thackery. Rohls singled to center field to score Thackery and Rohls eventually scored on a passed ball. North led 13-0.
In the fifth inning, White scored on a ground out by Wilson. Schoettmerâs ground out scored Schneider and Hash to make the final 16-0.
North had 11 hits and eight walks in the game. Thackery finished with a double, two singles and one RBI. White added a single, triple and one RBI. Rohls added two singles and one RBI. Wilson and Schoettmer both had a single and three RBIs. Macie Leake and Green both singled.
