Oklahoma linebacker Owen Heinecke granted an extra year of eligibility for 2026 after court ruling.
Steph Curry struggled early in the game but turned it around to lead the Warriors to victory, despite concerns over his injury and minutes restriction.
He was apparently just conserving his energy.
After Steph Curry scored eight points on just 2-of-9 shooting in a first-half that included a worrisome trip to the locker room, I assumed the Golden State Warriors were toast. If he didn't have it, they didn't have a chance.
Despite all we know about the four-time champ, there was plenty reason to doubt he had it in him to save the Warriors' season. With his expected minutes restriction, Wednesday's play-in contest was shaping up to be the bookend of an injury-riddled season where Curry was limited to just 43 games.
For a while, it looked that way too, as the Los Angeles Clippers led by eight at halftime and as much as 13 in the fourth quarter.
Then, the chef started cooking.
I wanted to sleep so bad. Somewhere mid-Curry awakening, when the Clippers were still up but in imminent danger, my eyes got incredibly heavy. Those West Coast games are tough on us in the East.
But in the same way he steadied the Warriors, Curry kept me going. After all, we've seen enough of his flurries to know when we're in the midst of something special. So I fought the drowsiness long enough to see him hit a ridiculous go-ahead step-back 3-pointer over Brook Lopez, and watch Draymond Green seal the game with a defensive masterclass on Kawhi Leonard.
THANK YOU: Clippers loss is even worse thanks to OKC
And I'm sorry I ever doubted.
If we're keeping it a buck, I could've surrendered to the sleep a lot sooner. The end result wasn't a surprise once the Warriors got rolling. There's clearly some championship DNA still lingering there. What is surprising is that Curry is able to pull this stuff off at 38 years old. Which shouldn't be possible.
His 27-point second half, where he made 10-of-14 shots and 5-of-7 threes, might seem normal in an era where contemporaries like Leonard, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are still playing a high level too. But it's not. Even less so for a 6-2 guard who built his hall-of-fame career running around screens and launching more long-range shots than anyone in the history of the game.
NEVER FORGET: CP3 trolls Clippers with meme after play-in loss
Steph Curry had a rough first half, scoring only eight points and briefly went to the locker room, raising concerns about his performance.
In the second half, Steph Curry significantly improved his performance, helping the Warriors overcome a deficit and secure the win.
Curry's ability to perform well despite injury concerns was crucial for the Warriors, as they needed him to save their season in the play-in contest.
Steph Curry played only 43 games this season due to injuries.

Steve Nash was a broken shell of himself nearing retirement from the Lakers by this point in his career. Allen Iverson didn't play past 34. Just to name a couple other former MVP guards.
Curry, though, is about to lead his team into another elimination game with a shot at the playoffs on the line. Appreciate this while you can. It won't go on for much longer... I think.
As they should be.
Luka Doncic and Cade Cunningham will be eligible for postseason awards under the extraordinary circumstances provision of the collective bargaining agreement, the NBA announced Thursday.
Both fell just short of the 65-game minimum, with Doncic playing 64 qualified games and Cunningham playing 63, but the league determined both had good enough reasons to still qualify for things like MVP and all-NBA consideration.
Not every appeal was positive, though, as Anthony Edwards' challenge was denied. With just 60 games under his belt, the Timberwolves guard won't be eligible for awards.
