Castle went insane in Game 6 and toyed with the Timberwolves defense when opportunities came. Coach Mitch Johnson left him to feast on the floor for 30 minutes which is the most playing time by any Spurs player in this game. Through this, he knocked down 11 of his 16 shots from the field while going 71.4% from three-point range. The Spurs' young guard also saw five of his six shots from the free throw line go down the net.
He was not just a scoring machine in this Game 6 victory over the Timberwolves too. Castle dropped six points to help decentralize the Spurs offense away from Victor Wembanyama, eventually everyone caught the scoring bug too. Moreover, the 21-year-old was able to also grab 11 rebounds to cap off his night.
Clearly, the Spurs hit the jackpot when they drafted Castle and paired him up with Wembanyama. These two will now take on the challenge of taking down the Oklahoma City Thunder. Can Castle notch more NBA Playoffs feats before he turns 22 years old?
