The Red Sox's lineup continued to scuffle over the weekend, scoring just seven runs in three games against the Houston Astros at Fenway Park. Their woes with runners in scoring position persisted, as they batted .107 with a .492 OPS in those situations and stranded a whopping 29 runners.

Prior to firing manager Alex Cora, hitting coach Pete Fatse, assistant hitting coach Dillon Lawson and several other coaches, the Red Sox were averaging 4.15 runs per game. In the seven games since then, they've averaged just 2.57 runs per game, so the coaching staff overhaul hasn't had the desired effect.
