The Syracuse women’s basketball team added to their 2026-27 roster with the commitment of forward Destiny Robinson, a 6’0” player from New York State Champion St. Mary’s Prep.
Robinson has been on Syracuse’s radar for a while now and will be the 2nd high school player in the 2026 class, joining Madison Howard.
Robinson was a key player for St. Mary’s, which had all five starters earn consideration for the McDonald’s All-American game. She could make an immediate impact on the defensive end as her 6’5” wingspan helped her accumulate 162 steals last night.
Coach Legette-Jack is excited to land an in-state prospect
“She is a true winner! The player that you find under the rock in broad daylight, a state championship winner, played against the best players in our great state and won. She’s gonna bring that pedigree to Syracuse. Please help me welcome Destiny to our family as we continue with our quest to pursue championships in the classroom and on the court with character.”
