TCU starĀ Olivia Miles was selected by the Minnesota Lynx with theĀ second overall pick in the 2026 WNBA draft on Monday.
Miles is now the fourth player to be selected in the WNBA draft in TCU program history, joining Hailey Van Lith (2025), Madison Conner (2025) and Sandora Irvin (2005). By going No. 2 overall, Miles became the highest drafted player in program history, surpassing Irvin, who went No. 3 overall to the Phoenix Mercury.
Miles recorded a triple-double in TCU's win over UC San Diego in the first round of the women's NCAA Tournament. She became the third player to record triple-doubles in multiple women's NCAA Tournament games. Her 12 career triple-doubles are the third most in NCAA history.
Projected to be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft, Miles put her professional career on hold to transfer to TCU for her final season of eligibility after four seasons at Notre Dame.
Miles will make her WNBA season debut against Atlanta on May 10. She will make her return to the Dallas area within the first week of the season, facing the Dallas Wings in Arlington on May 14.
