Tennessee (27-15, 8-11 SEC) will conclude a three-game baseball series against No. 15 Alabama (29-14, 10-9 SEC) on Friday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Rankings reflect the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
The Crimson Tide won Thursday's series opener, 12-8.
A schedule update was announced for the final two games of the series. A doubleheader will be contested Friday between Tennessee and Alabama.
First pitch for Game 2 on Friday is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EDT, while Game 3 will take place at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Both contests can be watch on SEC Network+.
"Per expected inclement weather on Saturday, we will now play a doubleheader tomorrow (Friday) with the first game starting at 2:30 p.m. EDT," Tennessee announced. "Game 2 of the DH will begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT or approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of Game 1."
Alabama leads the all-time baseball series against Tennessee, 82-48. The Crimson Tide are also 27-24 in games contested in Knoxville.
