When the Eagles pick at 68, we will update.
Reddick was a non-factor for the Jets after being traded there in the 2024 offseason. He was a holdout to start the season after having displeasure with his contract, and missed the first seven weeks of the year. Reddick finally showed up to work after that after agreeing to a contract adjustment with the Jets. He ended up being a regular on defense after that, playing in the final 10 games of the year, while recording 14 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack for the Jets. In 2025, Reddick signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency, but struggled there as well, recording only 2.5 sacks in 13 games with the team.
While the Bryce Huff signing didnāt work out in Reddickās place, the Eagles were clear winners of this trade, as Reddick didnāt produce much for the Jets in his lone year there. To get a third-round pick, especially one as high as No. 68, is a great return for a player who didnāt have a future in Philadelphia. Once again, Howie Roseman worked the phones and got himself a nice deal. The Philadelphia Eagles had eight draft picks heading into the 2026 NFL Draft, with six of them coming in the first four rounds. Theyād doubled up on third and fourth-round picks, thanks to the compensatory formula and a trade from the 2024 offseason: dealing Haason Reddick to the New York Jets. At the time, the Eagles had signed Bryce Huff from the Jets to a three-year deal (that eventually didnāt work out), and got a Day 2 pick out of New York for flipping their own pass-rusher to the team they just took one from. Now, in the 2026 NFL Draft, that pick is finally set to convey for the Eagles, who have quite a bit of capital in this draft. Letās revisit the trade and see what Philadelphia got in return.
