With the No. 191 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Josh Cameron, wide receiver, Baylor.
Jacksonville was likely to draft a wideout at some point on Day 3, and they made sure to get their guy in a sixth-round trade-up with the New England Patriots. Cameron has something of a running-back build and was a great returner at Baylor. He described himself as a unicorn on his media Zoom call after being picked, saying, âIâm not your stereotypical receiver body type-wise, but I think that works in my favor, to where you can put and plug me into so many different positions. Iâm just that guy who can really do it all.â

Reports
From Lance Zierlein of NFL.com:
Cameron is built like a big running back and is not shy about using that size, strength and body control to rack up touchdowns in the red zone. Heâs smooth in tracking and adjusting to throws. Drops are a rarity. However, he lacks suddenness to beat press and needs plenty of route work to avoid seeing a heavy percentage of contested targets. Proving he can move beyond the relatively simple asks of the Baylor offense will be critical if he is to become more than a backup. Cameron has traits but the development could take some time.
From Dane Brugler of The Athletic:
Cameron plays well through contact and has functional strength and ball-winning size, but his struggle in separating and avoiding contested windows will be a limiting factor. Though he has traits that intrigue NFL teams, development time is needed.
From Kyle Shatto of Sports Info Solutions:
Cameronâs route running and special teams ability should allow him to compete for NFL snaps, but his lackluster long speed and inability to consistently win one-on-one situations will likely limit his chances of being a consistent starter at the next level.
From Damian Parson of Bleacher Report:
Josh Cameron is a reliable, compact and densely built wide receiver. He combines impressive play-strength, contact balance and yards-after-catch creation to transition into an effective NFL playmaker.
