Three Saints futures bets to look out for

One fun part of the offseason is the chance to look ahead at futures bets for the upcoming season, taking a swing at both individual and team milestones.

Here are three Saints-related bets I like the look of as we move toward the NFL Draft.

1. Saints to win the NFC South

As the 2025 campaign went on, sentiment rapidly grew through the fanbase that the team’s ceiling could quickly go through the roof as soon as 2026. Tyler Shough’s performance at quarterback has driven the hype, and the relatively weak division means the door is very open that the Saints could return to the summit of the NFC South for the first time in six years.

After a strong free agency period and the eighth overall pick among the draft picks at the team’s disposal later this month, there’s no doubt people will like the Saints to win the division at +300 or better odds.

2. Saints to make the playoffs

Most sites currently offer the chance to double one’s money on the black and gold to make the playoffs. While it’s a similar bet to the one above, the Saints can, of course, find their way in without clinching the division crown. Regardless, qualifying for the playoffs feels like a step forward that the team is ready to take.

In the case of both of these bets, the fact that no team in the division reached a .500 or better record a year ago makes these Saints payouts look very fairly priced.

3. Kellen Moore to win Coach of the Year

There’s no doubting the impact the young head coach had in his first year in New Orleans. Should the Saints take a leap that we all hope they do, his name should be right in the mix for this award. He’s currently priced at +1300 or better on most sites.

Last won by Sean Payton in 2006, it’d be a fitting time, 20 years on, for Moore to bring the award back to the Big Easy.
