Toni Kroos breaks silence on potential return to Real Madrid – ‘Can’t say anything about it…’

In recent days, there has been a lot of noise surrounding Toni Kroos and a potential return to Real Madrid before next season.

The German icon announced his retirement from professional football at the end of the 2023/24 season, bringing an end to an illustrious career.

Since then, Los Blancos have heavily missed his presence not only on the field but also in the dressing room.

As such, reports of a potential return, not in a playing capacity, but as a part of the sporting structure, wherein he would act as a bridge between the players and the board, have been doing the rounds.

Toni Kroos speaks out

Kroos addressed this possibility on the podcast Einfach mal Luppen, which he co-hosts with his brother Felix Kroos.

On being asked directly about the rumours linking him with a return to Real Madrid, the club legend replied (h/t Mundo Deportivo):

“I can’t say anything about it, I don’t want to say anything, because I don’t know anything.”
