Davis, a 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward out of Freedom High School in Wisconsin, is ranked as the nation's No. 32 player overall, as the No. 10 small forward and as the No. 3 player in Wisconsin, per Rivals. Meanwhile, 247Sports rates Davis as the nation's No. 42 player and as the No. 2 player in Wisconsin.
Iowa recently hosted Davis on an official visit on April 15. Davis averaged 21.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, while shooting 70% from the field during his junior season.
"I think my main factor in a school will be a coaching staff that has trust in meĀ and allows me to be able to do what I can do. But Iām also looking for a team thatās, like, family where theyāre always together, always helping other people, and just playing as a team," Davis told Rivals' Jamie Shaw previously.
The Hawkeyes initially offered Davis on June 22, 2025.
Iowa is still searching for its first commitment in the 2027 class and Davis would be a splash to start its 2027 cycle out. Iowa signed small forward Jaidyn Coon and forward Ethan Harris in its 2026 class. Plus, the Hawkeyes inked transfers in guard Ty'Reek Coleman and center Andrew McKeever.
