UCLA star Lauren Betts, a top-five pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, has signed a shoe deal with Reebok following her national championship win. The 6'7" center is expected to make a significant impact in her rookie season with the Washington Mystics.

After winning a national championship run with UCLA and being a top-five draft pick in the 2026 WNBA daft, Washington Mystics rookie Lauren Betts has signed with Reebok.

The highly decorated 6â7âł All-American center is fresh off a national championship, where she earned accolades for her play. As the No. 4 pick in this yearâs WNBA Draft, she is a dominant interior presence, poised to bring that same impact to the pro game,â Reebok wrote in a social media post welcoming Betts to the organization.â
Betts is now the fifth WNBA player to sign a shoe deal with Reebok. In addition to Betts, Reebok has signed Angel Reese, Aneesah Morrow, Dijonai Carrington and Lexie Brown.
Reese signed with Reebok in 2024 and has since released a collection of clothing and a signature shoe under the brand. The Angel Reese 1 released in September 2025.
Reebok has yet to announce when Bettsâs signature shoe will be released. But the rookie is already making a name for herself in her first year in the WNBA.
Betts will report to the Mysticsâ training camp that officially begins on Sunday, April 19.
Joining her at training camp is former UCLA teammate and national champion Angela DugaliÄ, who Washington drafted with the No. 9 pick. Cotie McMahon, Cassandre Prosper, Darianne Littlepage-Buggs and Rori Harmon were also drafted by Washington on Monday and will report to training camp.
The six rookies will compete with returning players and undrafted signees for one of 12 spots on the Mysticsâ active roster.
Washingtonâs first preseason game will be against the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, April 25 at the Mysticsâ home stadium, the CareFirst Arena. The regular season opener will be against the Toronto Tempo, which is the team that drafted former Bruin Kiki Rice, on May 8.
