UConn men’s basketball to play Duke in Las Vegas in November

UConn men’s basketball is set to take on Duke at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 25, 2026, the night before Thanksgiving. The school confirmed this news on Thursday after reports earlier in the week; this game will occur as part of a three-year series that Duke is hosting in partnership with Amazon Prime.

The Huskies and Blue Devils met in the Elite Eight last month, when Braylon Mullins capped off a ferocious UConn comeback with a game-winning three-pointer off a Duke turnover. The win got the Huskies to the Final Four for the eighth time in program history and third time in the past four years.

Before meeting in Washington, D.C., UConn and Duke hadn’t played since 2014 in the Meadowlands. The two teams have played 10 times all time with an even 5-5 split. All 10 games have been played at a neutral site; this year’s clash in Vegas will be the 11th. The Huskies have never played in Durham, and the Blue Devils have not ventured to Storrs or Hartford.

Duke has reloaded after being last season’s No. 1 overall seed in the tournament. Even with losing Cameron Boozer, , and to the pros and Darren Harris and Nik Khamenia to the portal, Jon Scheyer is returning a core of , Cayden Boozer, Dame Sarr, and Patrick Ngongba to pair with newcomers John Blackwell, Cameron Williams, Bryson Howard, Deron Rippey Jr., and others.
