Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton âRampageâ Jackson, has struck a plea deal with prosecutors after he was arrested and charged with felony battery and a misdemeanor battery after assaulting a pro wrestler at an event outside Los Angeles in August 2025.
Jackson, 26, was due back in court for a preliminary hearing setting on Wednesday, but instead reached a plea agreement. Court records show Jackson pleaded no-contest to one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury. He also admitted to two special allegations, including personal infliction of great bodily injury and engaging in violent conduct. The New York Post first reported details of the plea deal.
A sentencing date of June 22 has been set for Jackson. The District Attorneyâs Office stated his âanticipated sentence is 90 days actual county jailâ as well as restitution in the amount of $81,703.38 and two years of formal probation.
Jacksonâs arrest stemmed from an assault on pro wrestler Syko Stu (real name: Stuart Smith) at a Knockx show in Los Angeles, where he was slated to appear but then went rogue, attacking Smith in a planned spot gone horribly wrong.
The entire altercation unfolded after Jackson was scheduled to interfere in a match. He ultimately went off script when he picked Smith up into the air and slammed him back down to the ground. Jackson proceeded to unleash more than 20 punches, many of which landed after it appeared Smith was already unconscious, before other wrestlers were finally able to drag Jackson off.
Smith was admitted to a local hospital where he spent several days in intensive care with family members, later revealing he suffered trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which resulted in the loss of several teeth from the assault.
Prior to the in-ring assault, Smith and Jackson were engaged in a separate incident when Smith hit Jackson with a beer can, believing Jackson was another pro wrestler involved to help hype the show. Video showed Smith later apologizing and the two shook hands.
Jackson was then seen on a live stream saying he was going to get his revenge âfor realâ after jumping into the ring for the planned showdown with Smith. The entire assault was captured on video and police later issued a warrant for Jacksonâs arrest.
