Australia lost another fight — and this one stings.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Jack Jenkins has been forced out of his scheduled bout against all-action finisher Marwan Rahiki, which was set to go down at UFC Perth next weekend (Sat., May 2, 2026) inside RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Australian MMA was first to report the news.
Jenkins (14-4) was last seen in action during the promotion’s previous trip to Perth back in September, where he picked up a solid unanimous decision win over Ramon Taveras. Prior to that, he suffered a submission loss to Gabriel Santos (watch highlights). “Phar” currently holds a respectable 4-2 record inside the Octagon.
As for Rahiki (8-0), the unbeaten prospect is coming off a breakout performance in his UFC debut, battering and in the second round en route to a . Before that, Rahiki earned his contract on in a wild two-round war with .

Now, his immediate future is uncertain.
According to Australian MMA, it’s unclear if Rahiki will remain on the card — but if he does, here are three potential replacements:
Marcio Barbosa — Fresh off a violent first-round knockout of Dennis Buzukja at UFC Winnipeg (watch highlights), Barbosa took virtually no damage. If he can make weight on short notice, this would be fireworks.
Javier Reyes — Reyes scored a first-round knockout of Douglas Silva de Andrade earlier this year and is known for staying very active. He’s the type of fighter who would gladly trade with Rahiki.
George Mangos — One of Australia’s top prospects, Mangos is currently slated for Road to UFC Season 5. UFC could just pull him from that tournament and sign him. He did lose in the last season of Contender Series to one of the better Canadian prospects, but rebounded by knocking out Justin Van Heerden in Eternal MMA.
Whatever happens, let’s hope Rahiki sticks around — because he’s must-watch television.
