IndyCar's Grand Prix of Arlington is back on March 21, 2027!

Tread Rosenthal is expected to play in today's NCAA men's volleyball final after a strong performance in the semifinals, despite limping due to a previous fall. He recorded 36 assists and contributed significantly to Hawaii's victory over Long Beach State.
LOS ANGELES — More than 9,400 fans went through the turnstiles for Saturday’s National Collegiate Men’s Volleyball Championship semifinals at Pauley Pavilion.
One of the few times it got quiet was during the third set of Hawaii’s victory over Long Beach State when ’Bows setter Tread Rosenthal fell to the floor.
It was on a missed serve from Long Beach State and there was no contact with any other player. He was tended to by the UH trainer and remained in the game.
Rosenthal didn’t miss a point in Hawaii’s victory over the Beach and finished with 36 assists, five digs, five blocks, two aces and two kills.
He was limping significantly during the final two sets after going down, but still made a two-handed, over-the-head bump set to Kristian Titriyski while dealing with the courtside tables on match point that led to the winning kill.
Rosenthal was held out of practice on Sunday and did some light stretching on the side, but is expected to be in the lineup tonight when Hawaii plays UC Irvine for the national championship at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
“He’s moving around pretty good,” Hawaii coach Charlie Wade said during Sunday’s NCAA press conference. “He’s a tough guy and a serious competitor so I think he will be ready to go.”
Rosenthal has missed only one start in three seasons as Hawaii’s starting setter because of injury or illness. It was in a loss to UC San Diego earlier this season when he was sick during pregame warm-ups. He eventually came off the bench in the third set to try to rally Hawaii to a win in its only regular-season Big West loss.
Rosenthal has missed three other matches in his UH career, but only because Hawaii wanted to play some of its bench players.
The three-time All-Big West first-team selection was a finalist for the AVCA National Player of the Year award this season.
He is averaging 10.45 assists per set and 1.48 digs pet set in his UH career and is already fifth on UH’s all-time list with 3,455 assists.
He’s also fifth all-time in career aces with 117 and needs just five to tie Jakob Thelle for the record with another year of eligibility remaining.
Tread Rosenthal fell to the floor during the third set due to a missed serve but continued to play and finished the match.
He recorded 36 assists, five digs, five blocks, two aces, and two kills in Hawaii's victory over Long Beach State.
Yes, Tread Rosenthal is expected to be in today's lineup for the final.
