USC's social media team trolled Notre Dame after securing a commitment from four-star edge rusher Mekai Brown. The Trojans remade Notre Dame's hype video, adding their own twist and mocking their rivals.
In recent weeks, USCâs social media team has gotten a bit feisty following commitments on the recruiting trail. Notably, on two separate occasions, the Trojans posted videos trolling conference rival Oregon after beating out the Ducks for a recruit.
On Friday, USC picked up another big commitment, landing four-star edge rusher Mekai Brown. This time, the Trojans decided to take a shot at rival Notre Dame, who was one of the teams that they beat out to land Brown.
Previously, the Irish had put out a hype video entitled âThink Bigâ. The Trojans decided to remake the video and add some USC flavor to it, encouraging viewers to âThink Biggerâ.
The trolling went beyond that, however. Part of Notre Dameâs video included a montage of Irish license plates. In USCâs version, in addition to several USC plates (including the famous âH8 Bruinâ one), they also included several (presumably fake plates) trolling rivals Notre Dame and Oregon.
One of the license plates was from Indiana with the letters âWK ZROâ. In smaller letters in the corner of the plate were the words âIndiana the place where itâs not anytime anywhereâ. This, of course, was a reference to Notre Dame reportedly rejecting USCâs offer to play their storied rivalry game in Week Zero, as well as head coach Marcus Freemanâs comments on the matter.
The montage featured also an Indiana plate with the letters âNOO CONFâ, referring to Notre Dameâs refusal to join a conference. In addition, there was an plate with the letters âZRO NATâ, a nod to the Ducksâ lack of any national championships.

Mekai Brown is a four-star edge rusher whose commitment strengthens USC's recruiting efforts and enhances their roster.
USC's social media team has become more aggressive in trolling rivals, previously targeting Oregon and now Notre Dame after recent recruitments.

As we wrote after the Trojans released their first such video, the trolling is fun and all, but only if they back it up on the field. If USC goes 8-4 this fall while Notre Dame and Oregon both make the College Football Playoff again, it would not be a great look for the Trojans. Of course, if USCâs football team is as talented as its creative team is, then the Trojans should go 12-0 in 2026.
