Hutchings signed with the Chicago Bears in Aug. 2024 but was released at the end of the preseason.
He then signed with the Vikings on a reserve/future contract in January. That kept him around the team this offseason, but evidently the Vikings decided they didn't need to keep him around any longer.
Between those two NFL stints, Hutchings played in the Canadian Football League. He had been an all-league player in the CFL.
