Simon Aguilar
A senior at Geneseo, who takes over the No. 1 position on the Section V Outdoor Track and Field 400-meter race season leaderboard, after running the event in 1 minute, 58.53 seconds at the Attica Invitational.
Brayden Arber
Bloomfield-Honeoye lacrosse player was credited with nine goals and four assists in the Prideâs win against Newark on Tuesday. The sophomore is up to 33 goals on the season, which ranks fifth in Section V.
Tyler Burchett
A senior on the Fairport golf team who was medalist at two Monroe County league matches. Burchett shot the lowest nine-hole scores of matches at Mill Creek Golf Club, one-under par 35, and a par 36 at Victor Hills Golf Club.
Ayden Clark
Marcus Whitman lacrosse player picked up his 100th career goal, part of a six-goal, four-assist performance in the Wildcatsâ win against Gananda on Thursday. The senior added two goals and seven assists in Saturdayâs victory over Section IVâs Dryden.
Ryan DeJoy
McQuaid baseball player had three hits, including two triples, over the course of two games won by the Knights. DeJoy also scored three runs and drove in a run.
Luis Falu
Senior at Monroe ran the fastest reported 200-meter dash race in Section V this season, 21.42 seconds during a Rochester City Athletic Conference dual meet.
Preston Jackson
Rush-Henrietta boys lacrosse player was the difference in Thursdayâs 10-7 win against Webster Schroeder. He had seven goals and seven ground balls for the Royal Comets.
Jaxon Leonard
Churchville-Chili lacrosse player buried a team-high six goals in the Saints win against Greece.
Kyle Markham
East High baseball catcher, a senior, drove in five runs as the Eagles won three games to build their season record to 9-1. Markham finished with five hits, including a triple, and scored five runs.
Karvel Martino
Batavia senior has followed an above-average indoor track and field season, with a Section V season-best shot put of 56 feet-6 inches at the Attica Invitational. Martino was named to the Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Indoor Track and Field Team.
Beckham Taylor
A senior at Pittsford Sutherland who pushed his best high jump of the outdoor track and field season to 6 feet-9 inches during a Monroe County league dual meet. No one in Section V has jumped higher in the event this spring.
Joshua Yakowitz
Gates Chili lacrosse player scored six goals to help the Spartans defeat Batavia Notre Dame on Saturday for their first win of the season.
