The winner of last week’s Baseball Player of the Week poll was Apponequet’s Petie Kanakis. He had more than 1,000 votes (63%) to receive the honor.
Kanakis went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits and 2 walks with 14 strikeouts in a win over GNB Voc-Tech. He also had a combined 2 hits and 3 RBIs in a pair of games against Case and Somerset Berkley.
Previous winners were Dartmouth’s Chase Afonso, Dom Gioiosa and Sebastian Diaz.

Levesque allowed 3 hits and 3 walks with 3 strikeouts to pick up the win over Old Rochester. He also allowed 2 unearned runs on 3 hits and no walks with 1 strikeout in relief against East Bridgewater.
In three games, Norton had a combined 5 hits and 4 RBIs.
Delk threw a no-hitter with 5 strikeouts in an 11-0 win over Bishop Fenwick.

In a pair of wins over St. John Paul II and St. Mary’s Tingley Prince went a combined 4-for-7 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
Against Bishop Fenwick, Winslow went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and 7 RBIs. He also had a hit, run scored and RBI against St. Mary’s.
In three games, Zexter went a combined 4-for-8 with 2 walks, 2 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
Against Case, Nunes-Medeiros went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and 3 runs scored.
Stott went 3-for-3 with a home run, triple, 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs in a win over Case.
Lajoie went a combined 4-for-7 with 2 doubles, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored in wins over Case and Nauset.

In three games, Roderiques had a combined 6 hits, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Correia went 7 innings against South Shore Voc-Tech, allowing 1 unearned run on 3 hits and 4 walks with 12 strikeouts. He also was 1-for-2 with a walk, RBI and run scored.

Cabe pitched a complete-game shutout over Westport, allowing 1 hit with 14 strikeouts. He also went 4-for-4 with 2 triples, a double and 3 RBIs against Rising Tide.
In a win over Rising Tide, Cannon was 3-for-4 with a triple and 4 RBIs.
Pease allowed 1 hit with 10 strikeouts over 5 innings in a win over Rising Tide. He also had 2 hits, an RBI and a run scored in a win over Westport.
