Calumet baseball: The Chieftains faced Fort Cobb-Broxton on Saturday in the Class B championship game for the third straight year and got over the hump this time, beating the Mustangs 7-3 for their first spring title in program history.
Okarche baseball: The Class A-I Warriors won their first spring championship and did so in dominant fashion, beating their opponents by a combined score of 30-3 over their three state tournament games.
Heritage Hall girls tennis: The Chargers came out on top in both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles tournaments at the 5A state tournament. Leila Williams and Tokara Henderson won their No. 1 final 6-3, 6-1 against Tulsa Booker T. Washington, while Hattie Bradford and Eloise Nasr took down Tulsa Kelley's Gerkin and Miller 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 2.
Mustang softball: Mustang won its second Class 6A state softball title this school year after defeating Choctaw 36-3 to clinch a perfect 35-0 season. Mustangâs 36 runs marked the highest scoring output ever in a Class 6A state championship game.
Washington girls track and field: Days after winning a 5A title in slowpitch, the Warriors claimed a 3A state title in track and field while scoring 130 points over the weekend.
