The final Bundesliga matchday on Saturday will see teams fighting for survival, with VfL Wolfsburg, Heidenheim, and St Pauli battling for 16th place. A crucial match between St Pauli and Wolfsburg will determine which team faces relegation.
Bayern Munich have already been crowned Bundesliga champions a while ago, but final matchday of the 2025-26 season promises to be a hectic one.
All games will kick off at 3:30 pm (1330 GMT) on Saturday and there's still a lot to fight for.
Who will be relegated?
A major showdown is expected in the fight for Bundesliga survival. VfL Wolfsburg, Heidenheim and St Pauli will be battling for 16th place in the standings, which is the only spot in the relegation/promotion play-offs. That's the only way one of them can still remain in the Bundesliga, as the trio can't leave the drop zone anymore.
St Pauli will host a do-or-die clash against Wolfsburg, with the loser getting relegated to the second division. A draw could mean relegation for both clubs if Heidenheim beats Mainz at home.
All three clubs are tied on 26 points and goal difference could be decisive. The team that finishes 16th will face the third-placed in the second division in a two-legged play-off.
Who qualifies for the Champions League?
VfB Stuttgart head into the final matchday of the season in fourth place, the last spot that secures Champions League qualification. But they are tied on 61 points with Hoffenheim, while Bayer Leverkusen are three points behind and still hopeful to reach the biggest European stage.
Both Stuttgart and Hoffenheim have away games at Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach respectively, while Leverkusen host SV Hamburg.
Who's making it to the Europa League?
The two losers in the three-way race between Stuttgart, Hoffenheim, and Leverkusen will take the fifth and sixth spots, therefore, qualifying to the Europa League. The German Cup final between Bayern and Stuttgart will also be decisive in determining the exact allocation of spots as the Cup champion receives a place in the Europa League.
VfL Wolfsburg, Heidenheim, and St Pauli are battling to avoid relegation, specifically for the 16th place spot.
A draw between St Pauli and Wolfsburg could lead to relegation for both teams if Heidenheim wins against Mainz.
All final Bundesliga matches will kick off at 3:30 pm local time (1330 GMT) on Saturday.

Who's taking the Conference League spot?
The next three-way race: Freiburg (44 points), Eintracht Frankfurt (43 points) and Augsburg (43 points) are still in contention for a spot in the third-tier European competition. Only the team in seventh place will make it into the Conference League.
Freiburg are also playing this season's Europa League final against Aston Villa on May 20. If they win and finish the Bundesliga season in seventh, Germany wouldn't have any teams in the Conference League next season because the qualifying spot would not be passed on to the eighth-placed team.
