The Los Angeles Rams hold the No. 13 overall pick in the NFL draft tonight. GM Les Snead is open to making trades depending on how the draft unfolds.
The Los Angeles Rams are going all-in on another push for the Super Bowl.
That much was made clear by GM Les Snead's blockbuster trade for Trent McDuffie — and the signing of Jaylen Watson — last month to solidify their secondary. Now with only the No. 13 overall pick thanks to a previous trade with the Atlanta Falcons, the Rams are in one of the most interesting positions in one of the most uncertain draft classes in a while.
But should the opportunity arise, Snead hasn't completely closed the door on making more moves.
"I think you're happy at 13, but those options are always on the table," he said, via USA TODAY Sports' Tyler Dragon. "Whether you move up, whether you move down because at the end of the day, you have to have 13 players that you'd take. Within those 13, there may be some that you appreciate more than the others. That's when you have to make that decision to move up.
"Then if some of the ones you appreciate more go, that's when you'd make the decision to trade back, collect more picks in the draft and then go from there. It's hard to say right now. This is probably that time. These next few days when teams really start… Here's what I can't say, a lot of times if you're trying to move up, a team may say, ‘Yes, we're willing to move back, but we have to see who's on the clock first.’ It's usually case by case and happens on the clock based on what happens in front of you.”

Fans have several options to choose from to watch the 2026 NFL Draft. NFL Network and ESPN will have separate broadcasts, each providing a different analysis of each pick as it happens on draft night.
Cord-cutters can stream the different broadcasts on NFL+, the NFL's proprietary streaming service; ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited, ESPN's streaming services; or cable alternative Fubo, which offers a free trial.
Teams will have eight minutes on the clock to make their first-round selections this year, a two-minute reduction from previous years. That should cut down the length of the event on Thursday, which has run as long as four hours in recent years. Either way, Rams fans can expect to wait at least an hour to see NFL commissioner Roger Goodell call the 13th pick.
