The England squad will be announced on Friday, May 22.
Tuchel will then hold a live Q&A session at Wembley Stadium to discuss his selections, according to the FA.
As per FIFA regulations, competing teams at the World Cup must submit a provisional roster of players by May 11, and their final, whittled-down list no later than May 30.
The final squad must contain at least 23 players and no more than 26. Tuchel is expected to choose a 26-man group. The only other stipulation is that at least three of these players must be goalkeepers.
Otherwise, Tuchel largely has free rein over who to take to the tournament, although the final group will likely look pretty similar to his squad in March.
Up to 27 team officials will complete the travelling party.
Teams are allowed to make a change to their squad due to injury or illness up to 24 hours before their first scheduled game of the tournament. Medical proof of the reason behind the withdrawal must be sent to FIFA for approval.
England's Group L opener is against Croatia in Arlington, Texas on June 17, meaning any replacements would have to be arranged by June 16. After that, the squad is set for the tournament.
The one exception concerns goalkeepers: if any of the three are injured or ill and has to withdraw, they can be replaced by another keeper from the provisional list at any stage of the competition (again, subject to FIFA ratifying the change).
England will be based in Kansas City, on the western edge of Missouri, during the World Cup.
They are due to stay at the four-star Inn at Meadowbrook, which is technically across the state line into Kansas. It is believed to have been chosen because it is quiet and secluded, even if it lacks in some facilities, such as an on-site swimming pool.
According to The Guardian, the FA wanted to use Sporting Kansas City's performance centre for training, but Argentina got their first. As such, the Three Lions will use Swope Soccer Village, a sports complex within Kansas City's 130-year-old Swope Park.
