Which One Young Cowboys Player Faces Most Offseason Pressure?

The Dallas Cowboys are now turning their attention to OTAs after completing rookie minicamp at The Star, and now the battle for positions takes center stage.

With a little under a month until OTAs begin, this is the time of the offseason when players can either help or hinder their chances of making the roster or impressing the coaching staff.

For some, their NFL careers are on the line, while for others, it's officially put up or shut up time.

So, who is the player that is under the most pressure to deliver for Dallas this offseason?

There is a plethora of candidates - Luke Schoonmaker, DaRon Bland and Tyler Guyton - come to mind, but I'm going with a different player, and it's one that might have gotten lost in the wash.

And that's Jaydon Blue.

Remember, when Blue was drafted last offseason, he was seen as a player who could potentially make an immediate impact for Brian Schottenheimer's offense. But it didn't materialize.

Our own Mike Fisher reported Blue had issues with pad level, and that he wasn't patient enough to allow running lanes to open up, instead using his blistering speed to run straight into trouble.

It took Jaydon all season to get on the field in a starting capacity, as Week 18 saw him show the NFL world what he's got in his locker.

But now, he's got to do it in the offseason.

Let's not forget, for all of his potential, Blue is a fifth-round pick, so the Cowboys, if they don't see enough, could be inclined to move on from the former Texas Longhorn.
