Texas State women's basketball signed seven transfer portal commits and two high school recruits Tuesday, ahead of its 2026-27 Pac-12 debut season.
The Bobcats added CSU Bakersfield guard Aliyah Carter, North Alabama forward Sofia Ceppellotti, Oakland guard Cali Denson, Georgia State guard Crystal Henderson, Delaware guard Lay Fantroy, Seattle U center Lucija Milkovic and Northwest College guard Emma Pique. Texas State signed center Addison Carr and forward Hayden Hearst to its freshman class.

Here are a few signings that could make the biggest impact on the upcoming season:
Texas State struggled with a lack of size last season as 6-foot-1 forward Kyra Anderson was the team's tallest player. The Bobcats often lost the battle on the glass and, in the final game of the season, started three guards shorter than 5-10.
New head coach Chris Kielsmeier has immediately addressed that issue by adding Milkovic and Carr, two 6-foot-6 centers. Milkovic is entering her senior season after struggling to realize her potential at Missouri or Seattle U. She averaged 6.2 points and 3.8 rebounds last season. Despite her size, she only had 14 blocks in 41 games.
Carr, meanwhile, swapped her commitment from Cleveland State, following Kielsmeier to San Marcos. Milkovic has more experience, but Carr could fight for playing time early if the senior struggles.
The key newcomers include Lucija Milkovic, a center from Seattle U, and Addison Carr, a center from high school.
The recruits include guards, forwards, and centers, with notable players like Aliyah Carter and Sofia Ceppellotti.
Texas State women's basketball will debut in the Pac-12 during the 2026-27 season.

The sister of Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson, Texas State witnessed Crystal Henderson's dynamic talent first-hand at the end of January when the Panthers hosted the Bobcats; she dropped 21 points and four assists on 8-of-16 shooting.
Henderson averaged 16.7 points, three rebounds and 4.1 assists on 38.9% shooting for a Georgia State team that finished 11th in the Sun Belt. If the Bobcats can lighten her load, they might be able to squeeze some more efficient scoring out of the guard.
Fantroy is a 5-foot-10 guard who seems to play with the kind of physicality that Kielsmeier is looking for. She recorded eight double-doubles during her lone season with Delaware and is nimble for her size.
Fantroy's best game came against Jacksonville State, when she recorded 20 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 61-58 loss. She should provide a strong rebounding presence at the guard position, which Texas State lacked last season.
