Mexican starlet Armando Gonzalez has been linked with Barcelona this season as a possible low-cost option to bolster their attack.
The teenager has shone for Chivas, scoring goals for fun, which has reportedly seen him catch Barcelonaâs eye.
Gonzalez has been asked about the possibility of playing for Barcelona and admits he would jump at the chance should it arise.
âYes, of course, who wouldnât like it? Barça is one of the best teams in history. For me, Guardiolaâs team is mythical, and what they are doing now with Hansi Flick is also very important,â he told Sport.
âAny player wants to get there. If it happens, I would be very grateful.â
Gonzalez also admits he would love to play alongside Lamine Yamal.
âI think heâs one of the best in the world right now, and what he does week after week is incredible. I would like to have him as a teammate,â he explained.
âBeing able to play with the best in the world I think is one of my goals, and Lamine Yamal is one of them, so if God gives me the fortune to be able to play with him, it will be something very nice.â
Armando Gonzalez stated he would love the opportunity to play alongside Lamine Yamal at Barcelona.
His outstanding performance with Chivas, where he has scored numerous goals, has caught Barcelona's attention as a potential low-cost option.

Yet Gonzalez readily admits heâs not a Barcelona fan and has always had a soft spot for Diego Simeoneâs side.
âItâs going to be surprising, but Iâm an AtlĂ©tico de Madrid fan,â he added.
âMy father spent some time in Madrid and he brought things from AtlĂ©tico to my brother and me, and I liked it a lot. In addition, I like Cholo Simeoneâs style: dedication, fighting, never giving up, taking it game by game.â
