The Los Angeles Angels are one of the worst teams in Major League Baseball again, and that's even with Jose Soriano pitching like one of the best in MLB, and Mike Trout's resurgence.
The latter is something that the Angels have been hoping to see for some time. Trout's return to All-Star form is fun for all of baseball, and the Angels should trade him right now.
The Athletic's Keith Law is urging the Angels to trade Trout ASAP, and for good reason: there might never be a chance to trade Trout again.
"The Angels need to look into trading him right now, as his value will never be higher, and his contract is still a major risk for them," Law writes.
While trading Trout is easier said than done, Law believes that there's no better time to trade him than right now. Even with the no-trade clause, giving Trout the chance to shut down any trade, the Angels should look to move their future Hall of Famer.
It makes sense, as Trout's struggles the last few years likely had teams that would've been interested not willing to spend the prospect capital and take on so much money to bring in an aging, and regressing player.
The Angels should trade Mike Trout now to capitalize on his return to All-Star form, as this may be their best opportunity to get significant value in a trade.
Mike Trout's resurgence has provided excitement for fans, but it hasn't improved the Angels' overall performance, as they remain one of the worst teams in MLB.
Keith Law from The Athletic is urging the Angels to trade Mike Trout as soon as possible, citing the potential for never having a better opportunity.

Trout is owed $178 million over the next four-plus years, which, as Law noted, was looking like way too much last year. But now, it's a bit more reasonable.
With the Angels way out of contending for a postseason spot, and Trout's resurgence, there likely won't be another chance to trade Trout at all, let alone for a return as good as they could get right now.
There will surely be some teams interested, with the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies two teams worth keeping an eye on.
Having Trout stay with the Angels for his entire career and enter the Hall of Fame with the Angels logo on his cap would be nice. But, when it comes to building a team, trading Trout right now for a huge haul makes the most sense.
Law believes the Angels should trade Trout right now, and there is some credence to the idea. The Angels outfielder is playing better than he has lately, making his contract and skill set more appealing for a team than they have been in the last few years.
