The Cleveland Browns saw a player they wanted, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.
It's a cool Ohio connection, and they've been united with the No. 58 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Browns traded up with the San Francisco 49ers to get him.
"This is a steal to me," ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. said on the draft broadcast.
McNeil-Warren is a hard-hitting safety from the University of Toledo. It's the first time in 50 years the Browns have drafted a player from Toledo, according to the ESPN draft broadcast.

Sure, he played in the MAC, but the Rockets produce studs. Quinyon Mitchell came out of Toledo two years ago.

He went 58th instead.
Many mock drafts had him going as high as No. 18 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Any way you draw this up, the Browns won this deal.
