The New York Jets own the second-overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and there are a ton of different routes they could take with this selection.
However, it seems likely that the Jets will take one of two players: Ohio State's Arvell Reese or Texas Tech's David Bailey. And with the Jets canceling Bailey's top-30 visit a week before the draft, there is a ton of speculation over why they made such a decision.
Well, ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed the reason for this canceled visit between the Jets and Bailey. While they could've held this meeting, the Jets felt like they had everything they needed to know about Bailey, and are cancelling the top-30 visit because of that.

The Jets' cancelling this top-30 visit for the reason Schefter noted, that they have all the information they need, seems to imply the Jets have, for the most part, made their decision.
Fernando Mendoza is set to go number 1 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders, leaving Bailey or Reese among the rest of the draft class on the table for the Jets.
