The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team is linked to a 6-foot-6 guard who spent his freshman season at Alabama.
Joe Tipton broke the news that Milwaukee, WI native, Davion Hannah, will be entering the transfer portal.
Immediately after breaking the news, Badgers' Evan Flood named Hannah as a guy to watch. Wisconsin has added three transfers in a two-day span, but it's clear head coach Greg Gard isn't finished.
Wisconsin recruited Hannah out of high school, but ultimately, he went with the Crimson Tide. In his first season, he averaged 12.7 minutes per game in 10 appearances. It should be noted that he missed the final 24 games due to a medical condition, one that turned out to be tailbone and back issues.
Hannah may have only averaged 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, but Wisconsin's starting lineup is all but finalized at this point in time. Now, it's about filling their three remaining roster spots with guys who can come off the bench.
Not only is Hannah a solid option, but he has experience playing with fellow bench guard Zach Kinziger. Those two played AAU together and could be reunited in due time.
