Wisconsin volleyball will face reigning national champions Texas A&M on September 11, 2026, as part of their challenging nonconference schedule. This match adds to a lineup that includes other top teams like Kentucky and Florida.
MADISON – Wisconsin volleyball will be visiting the reigning national champions in 2026.
The Badgers will visit Texas A&M on Sept. 11 as part of their 2026 nonconference schedule, the team announced on April 27 via social media.
The Aggies are coming off a 29-4 season that culminated with a sweep over Kentucky to claim their first-ever national championship.
The Texas A&M match is the latest addition to what is turning out to be an especially challenging nonconference slate. UW’s other announced nonconference foes so far include Kentucky on Aug. 21, Louisville on Aug. 22, Florida on Sept. 2, Auburn on Sept. 3 and Texas on Sept. 13.
The only aforementioned matches at the UW Field House will be the Florida and Auburn matches as part of the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. The Kentucky and Louisville matches will be at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee as part of the AVCA First Serve, and the Texas and Texas A&M matches are on the road.
The Kentucky and Texas matches will be rematches from last year’s NCAA tournament. The Badgers will have a much different look this time around as they try to replace the production from key players such as Mimi Colyer, Carter Booth, Alicia Andrew and Una Vajagic.
