Worcester Red Sox pitcher Tyler Uberstine has been placed on the injured list due to a shoulder injury. He was called up to the Boston Red Sox earlier this month and made his MLB debut on April 5.

Right-handed pitcher Tyler Uberstine was called up to the Boston Red Sox in early April and made his MLB debut on April 5.
The 26-year-old returned to Triple-A Worcester the next day but was placed on the injured list Thursday.
"Per the WooSox game notes, RHP Tyler Uberstine has been placed on the 7-day IL with right shoulder soreness," Red Sox insider Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald posted on Bluesky.
The Red Sox selected Uberstine out of Northwestern University in the 19th round of the 2021 MLB June Amateur Draft and he advanced to Triple-A for the first time in 2025.
Uberstine allowed one run on three hits and one walk with two strikeouts across 2 2/3 innings pitched in his big league debut against the San Diego Padres.
The California native has allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits, six walks and nine strikeouts over 9/2 innings pitched covering three games (one start) with the WooSox this year.
Tyler Uberstine sustained a shoulder injury, leading to his placement on the injured list.
Tyler Uberstine made his MLB debut on April 5.
Before being injured, Tyler Uberstine played for the Worcester Red Sox.
