Caleb Wilson is a projected lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, with potential to improve his standing at the Combine. Analysts believe his athleticism and competitiveness could elevate him further, possibly to the No. 4 overall pick.

The NBA Draft is rapidly approaching, with a loaded class on tap. One of the top projected selections is Caleb Wilson, who quickly captured attention during his lone season at UNC.
Wilson appeared well on his way to a National Player of the Year Award, before an injury suffered in North Carolina's loss at Miami (FL) cut his season short. Wilson targeted a return vs. Duke, but another injury the week before officially ended his season.
Wilson is currently a projected lottery pick, but can he boost his standing even further? CBS Sports' Isaac Trotter thinks so.
"North Carolina star Caleb Wilson is going to knock the interviews and the athletic testing out of the park," Trotter said. "The athleticism, the smile, the competitiveness, the ability to put his nose on the rim, it's all there. Wilson fits like a glove with what the Chicago Bulls are looking for under new general manager, Bryson Graham."
"But will he get to No. 4 overall," Trotter continued. "It's still the most likely outcome, but there's no question that Wilson can surge even more with a strong week. He fits the profile of what eachĀ NBA teamĀ is looking for as a two-way wing with elite athletic tools and an insatiable desire to win. Can he vault past Peterson or Duke's Cameron Boozer? It's certainly not out of the question."
There's no question Wilson's game will translate very well to the NBA, arguably better than Cam Boozer or Darryn Peterson's. Wilson is currently participating in the NBA Combine, which ends May 17.
Caleb Wilson is currently projected as a lottery pick in the NBA Draft.
Wilson can enhance his draft position by excelling in interviews and athletic testing during the Combine.
The Chicago Bulls are particularly interested in Caleb Wilson, as he fits their needs under new general manager Bryson Graham.
