For now, let’s run through the list and get you caught up on some of the most recent storylines. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

“The Maverick” Logan Paul lost his tag team with the Vision to L.A. Knight and the Usos at Wrestlemania. Afterward, Paul took out all of his anger on IShowSpeed, which should lead to a match between the two at Backlash. I will say IShowSpeed looked great this weekend, but going one-on-one with the Maverick is another story.
LA Knight
L.A. Knight defeated IShowSpeed and the Vision, with the Usos in their tag team match at Wrestlemania. They won this match, but where the WWE is going with Knight is up in the air. I still feel that they’re going to create a feud between Knight and Jey Uso, but with injury rumors in the air, this could easily snowball in any direction. YEAH!
Making his debut on the list is Trick Williams, who not only defeated Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania but also became the U.S. Champion in the process. Now that the former NXT standout has a belt around his waist, we can only hope that he defends it every week, which I don’t see Williams doing.
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar clashed at Wrestlemania this weekend, with Femi coming out on top. This was clearly a smash match as I predicted in our Wrestlemania show, which I predicted would be over sooner. What a lot of us didn’t predict was Brock Lesnar retiring from his in-ring career.
The latest WWE power rankings feature significant changes, including newcomers due to multiple title shifts at Wrestlemania 42.

Logan Paul is expected to face IShowSpeed in a match at Backlash following his anger after losing at Wrestlemania 42.

Penta showed why the WWE believes in him by defending his title in a grueling ladder match. There were many highlights for all of the superstars in this match, but none was better than Penta grabbing his title and retaining his Intercontinental Championship. With Backlash coming up next, it’s unknown if Penta will be featured on this card, since the WWE seems to be using these PLEs as a feature now, instead of including all of their wrestlers.
Jey had himself a week like he was playing in the Super Bowl, and not wrestling at Wrestlemania. Even though Jimmy, L.A. Knight, and he won their match at Wrestlemania, Jey ended up getting into some beef with the former rapper, Cam’ron. Jey was on a podcast when Cam’ron kept sneaking in disses, which eventually led to Jey snatching up Cam’ron and dropping a few punches his way, before he was pulled off. Now that’s entertainment. YEET!
Randy Orton lost to Cody Rhodes on Saturday, which now leads Orton to a crossroad in his career. Puns aside, Orton obliterated Rhodes after the match, which had a panty of shenanigans in it. However, with an injury floating in the air for Orton, I’m not sure if he’s going to be written off T.V., or if they’ll keep running him out there.
C.M. Punk lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the main event at Wrestlemania on Sunday. I’m sure he’s going to be ready to run his mouth tonight, but it was clear that he gassed out getting to finish the OTC. That made Punk look strong in the finish, but now, it makes me feel like they’ll use this as an angle, since Reigns used Punk’s age so much in the build leading up to their match.
Roman Reigns defeated C.M. Punk by pinfall after it looked like Punk had gassed out at the end of the match. By not being able to pick up the Tribal Chief, Reigns regained his strength, leading to him putting the final spear in Punk’s title reign. For now, Reigns had promised that he would give the fans what they want, and that’s him being an active champion.
Cody Rhodes is the number one, pound-for-pound, wrestler in the world, and whether you love or hate it, I’m right. After defeating Randy Orton at Wrestlemania, Rhodes should have some time off, especially after the way he looked after the match. Regardless, I can see his feud with Orton done for now, since Orton himself had been nursing an injury.
