With WrestleMania 42 fast approaching, WWE’s most dangerous couple — Liv Morgan and Dirty Dominik Mysterio — stole a much-needed moment away from the chaos awaiting them on the “Showcase of the Immortals.” For Morgan, that meant returning to New Jersey’s Elmwood Park Diner, the beloved hometown staple where her humble beginnings were shaped by chicken tenders, Shirley Temples and the sounds of Fetty Wap.

“We were the first to get him, though,” Morgan says confidently during the pair’s chat with Billboard‘s Carl Lamarre, boasting about Jersey’s 2010s crown jewel. “He was right next door in Paterson. We had ‘Trap Queen’ before everyone else.”

On the other side of the country, her partner-in-crime, Dirty Dom, was rooted in West Coast rap. “Being a West Coast kid, I grew up on 2Pac, Ice Cube, and N.W.A. Now, it’s Kendrick [Lamar], Game and a lot of the new West Coast sound. In high school, it felt like a little bit of everything.”

Despite coming from opposite sides of the country, Morgan and Mysterio share a voracious appetite for wrestling, mischief and music. Morgan’s beguiling charm, paired with Mysterio’s slimy persona, is what makes them a lethal on-screen couple — with a killer playlist to match.

From Lil Wayne to 50 Cent to Love on the Spectrum’s Abbey Romeo, Morgan and Mysterio rattled off some of their favorite records while building their ultimate Billboard Mixtape. It was a no-holds-barred conversation, touching on their first WrestleMania moments, title victories, and even relationship highlights — all soundtracked by the songs that define them.

The Judgment Day duo was also candid about their entrance themes, with Morgan upping the ante by saying she’d “sing it herself” — teasing her single, “Trouble,” debuting exclusively with Billboard this week.
