BALTIMORE - One change in the Yankees' lineup on Monday night against Baltimore as Jose Caballero is on the bench, with Max Schuemann getting the start at shortstop.
Over the weekend, the Yankees were swept three games in Milwaukee and slipped out of first place in the AL East.
They hadn't lost a series since being swept three games at Tampa Bay, by the current AL East-leading Rays.
In between, the Yankees went 6-0-1 in series against teams that currently have a collective .393 winning percentage.
And by the way, the entire AL - other than the Rays and Yanks - has been completely mediocre or worse, with just the Guardians (21-21) and Athletics (21-19) playing at, or above, .500.
