After a period with a few struggles, our team returned with renewed energy right after the international break. With a 2-1 away win in Hartberg, we secured three crucial points on Easter Sunday.

However, the visitors from Upper Austria, who recently made the cup final, are also arriving with momentum. Didi Kühbauer's team underlined their current form with a convincing 4-1 victory against Austria Vienna and have thus firmly established themselves in the leading pack. The league standings highlight the significance of this match: while the gap to league leaders Sturm Graz is currently four points, the battle for the remaining spots is incredibly tight. I think that this time – unlike in our last encounter – we can no longer rely on an element of surprise. LASK are sure to have analysed us thoroughly by now and know what to expect. Friday's match will be one where both teams will be playing at a high athletic level and with confidence from their recent victories. It will be a very intense and close game, and we will be well prepared for it.

We want to pick up where we left off in Hartberg. We want to carry this positive momentum forward and try to secure another victory against opponents in good form. I don't think we need to hide in any way. Throughout my career, I've been used to being able to play in many positions. For me, that's completely normal, and I feel comfortable on the pitch, whether it's at left-back or anywhere else.
