The Tennessee Titans are set to draft fourth overall in the NFL Draft and are being linked to Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love. Despite having pressing needs on the offensive line and edge rushers, the Titans have the resources to make this pick after a strong free agency period.
Two weeks remain until round 1 of the NFL Draft begins in Pittsburgh. The Tennessee Titans will be picking early with the number four overall pick and have been mocked to take Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love in many mock draft predictions. The team has spent the most money in free agency and plugged many holes on its roster.
However, several high-level edge rushers (who they're often mocked to take) are projected to go early in the draft, and many believe that is a position they need to shore up. Also, other positions are higher on their need than RB, with returning starter Tony Pollard still on the roster. This led to SleeperNFL's questionon X (formerly Twitter): Are the Titans a good enough team to draft a RB No. 4 overall?
Many opinions were formed by that question, with many pointing to the Titans' offensive line needing to be addressed. The Titans return three starters, but signed free agents to address the other two spots. Also, the team has nine total picks to address those needs for competition purposes.
Jeremiyah Love is one of the best prospects in this draft, and the Titans lack playmakers on offense. While the running back position has been devalued in the public eye, it remains highly relevant in today's NFL. Taking arguably the best player in the draft shouldn't be a question, but here we are.
If Tennessee ultimately selects Love with the 4th overall pick, he would instantly elevate a running game that finished 30th in rushing yards per game last season. Love also offers value as a pass catcher out of the backfield. While the question of the Titans being good enough to select a running back at No. 4 is to be determined, Jeremiyah Love is good enough to be selected that high by a team that needs his skill set.

The Titans are considering Jeremiyah Love due to his potential fit in their offense and the team's significant investment in free agency, which allows them to focus on a running back despite other needs.
The Titans' biggest needs include strengthening their offensive line and adding edge rushers, although they are also looking at running back with the return of starter Tony Pollard.
The Titans have a total of nine draft picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, which they can use to address various roster needs.
