Keldric Faulk, an EDGE prospect from Auburn, has shown potential but also significant limitations ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. Despite a strong freshman and sophomore season, his performance in 2025 raises concerns about his pass-rushing skills.

Every year, we see prospects rise and fall. Inevitably, there will be prospects in the class who rise, but are not deserving of the hype surrounding them. One of those prospects in conversation is Auburn EDGE Keldric Faulk. Faulk is a popular name towards the top of the 2026 NFL Draft EDGE class, but let's talk about if he deserves it or not.
Faulk, a former four-star recruit out of Highland Home High School in Highland Home, Alabama, was the number 79 overall prospect in his class. He would see the field as a true freshman and never look back, earning SEC All-Freshman team honors. His sophomore season was impressive, when he finished with seven sacks and 11 tackles for loss. 2025 was a down year for Faulk, as he totaled just two sacks through three games.
Keldric Faulk certainly has the build to be an every-down lineman at 6'6, 285 lbs. He is as strong as an ox, as he can bench 415 lbs and squat 700 lbs. He uses his strength to be a plus run defender, knowing where to find the gaps, but can also force his way in. He led FBS EDGE rushers with 62 run stops. He can play out as a rusher, or even down as 3i technique. His lengthy wingspan allows him to get inside early and use his power to drive his blocker back.
The pass rush moveset just isn't there. He lacks the mindset to stack options because he has limited moves in his arsenal. His first step is like he's coming out of quicksand. Next to no knee bend to his game is very concerning when evaluating him to the next level. Hand placement is all over the place. He almost never lands first, giving blockers a chance to land first. Negative agility limits him to one pass-rush style.
I don't see the vision with Keldric Faulk. Yes, he's young, but his pass-rush game has minimal development, especially after his sophomore season. The juice doesn't seem to be worth the squeeze here. Faulk has a third-round grade and would be a third-down/goal-line run stuffer at most.

Keldric Faulk recorded seven sacks and 11 tackles for loss in his sophomore season, but only two sacks in three games during 2025.
At 6'6 and 285 lbs, Faulk has the strength to be a strong run defender, but his lack of agility and pass rush moves limits his effectiveness as a rusher.
Faulk's pass-rushing technique is concerning due to limited moves, poor hand placement, and a slow first step, which hinder his ability to effectively pressure quarterbacks.
